Our Story
Alpe d'Huez is the most famous mountain climb in the Tour de France. The climb up Alpe d'Huez is 13.8km at an average gradient of 8.1% with 21 hairpin bends marked with panels honouring the winners of each stage that has finished there.
The climb is the toughest you can imagine. Everything burns. There are no dips or flats (hairpins are the flatest parts) so there is little respite. You see all manner of bikes attempting the holy grail because it is about the climb where speed is optional and getting off is not. And what is the prize at the end? The descent where the warm air smacks your face on the way down as you feel invincible.
It is this passion for cycling and the quality of the riding experience that saw us make our first products. We may never reach the heights of the greats, but we can help you get to the top of your mountain on the long ride ahead.
